This $100 scholarship is open for applications until July 11, 2014.  One scholarship is awarded per semester.

U.S. Marine Corps League Scholarship

For Fall 2014 – Any major and class level, minimum GPA of 2.5; 1st Preference given to students who have served an active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps or Marine Corps Reserve and received an honorable discharge or be the spouse or child of a U.S. Marine or Marine Reservist (must submit documentation for verification). 2nd Preference given to any Military Veteran from any of the U.S. Military Services who have served and received an honorable discharge (must submit documentation for verification). Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Be aware that strong emphasis is put by the selection committee on this section of the application. Be as complete as possible. 200-500 words is sufficient.
